“I am a middle-aged man who at one time was very skeptical about chiropractic treatments. I have now come to believe in the treatment, and I highly recommend it to everyone. However, I would not recommend just any chiropractor, as I am sure there are good and bad chiropractors.
I highly recommend Dr. Ram Parikh, D.C. I had been suffering from low back pain on and off for years. I would just take some aspirin for a week and I would be o.k. One winter, I pulled something in my back as I moved some planters. I started to take aspirin, but this time the pain did not go away. I walked hunched over, and I had severe pain in my back. I needed relief so that I could work and take care of my kids. My wife, who had been treated by Dr. Ram, convinced me to get a checkup.
As I was in severe pain, Dr. Ram’s staff got me an appointment right away. Dr. Ram and his staff were very professional and courteous when I went for my first visit. Dr. Ram thoroughly evaluated me. He explained all of my issues, and the probable causes of my problem.
I was a little wary at first, since I had never been adjusted or been to a chiropractor. Dr. Ram, in his report and x-ray findings, explained that my back problem had been there for several years. Aspirin had done a good job of masking the pain until the aspirin stopped working. The adjustment was quick and easy and did not cause any pain. The tightness in my back was better after the first adjustment. I did not expect the pain to go away in one adjustment. Dr. Ram said it would take some time, since the main underlying problem had been there for some time.
Over the next few weeks, my pain got better. I was able to go back to work with no pain, and I had fun playing with my kids. After a few weeks, I realized that I stopped getting headaches, and that my knee pain was improving as well. Since I have been under Dr. Ram’s care, I have a better sense of well-being, and I don’t seem to get sick as often as I used to.
I would recommend to anyone who has pain and taking any medication to contact Dr. Ram’s office to see if chiropractic can help.
